Growing & Maturing

Vineyard puts a high priority on our need to be constantly learning and growing as Christians. In the New Testament a follower of Jesus was called a disciple, a student, a learner. To be a Christian is to be a disciple of Jesus, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! Spiritual maturity involves growth and change from the inside out so that we are not just "talking the talk" but "walking the walk". It is becoming more like Jesus. It is learning to think like Jesus and to act like Jesus. It is a life long process! As we grow and mature, every part of our lives is affected - our attitudes, our speech, our finances, our habits, our behaviors, and our relationships.
